"Gee wiz. Yeah. This song punches me in the gut no matter how many times I sing it or work on it.

Our bassist, Mason Taylor, passed away a month ago. It's been to hardest thing any of the boys have ever endured. Mason passing has been the reason we've pushed to get this EP done.

Miss You, Buddy is a song for Mason, obviously. After hearing the news about our best friend, Brady and I stumbled back into the practice room that night and sat in silence watching these neon lights we have in our space. It just felt so different. Having his bass and amp sitting in that corner knowing the dynamic of our life and band changed forever.

Brady picked up an acoustic guitar next to him and the first thing he played was the chord structure to this song. In a speechless time for us, we found we were not speechless through our music. It was one of the most important moments in my life and in my musical progression.
